Hi Kevin, it’s hard to answer that question without knowing more information. Are your loans federal or private? If they are private, there isn’t a 25 year forgiveness option. If they are federal, I’d encourage you to check out the details on the one-time IDR update happening this year and then call your loan servicer.

Ultimately, your loan servicer would be the point of contact, but the more prepared you are when you make the call, the better your odds of success.
