I think this is a situation where it might also help to contact your elected representative. Politicians know that seniors vote, and Parent PLUS loans have become a major issue for seniors… it needs to get fixed.

I am retired, age 70 and still have 12 years left on my loan and still owe $16,000 + on it. I was excited to learn about the Biden loan forgiveness plan, but saddened to discover that I wouldn’t qualify for it per their newest guidelines. I filed a complaint as you suggested, but the Federal Student Aid Service closed it without even notifying me. So, is there anything else that I can do?
